The Company

Rent a car S’Algar was founded in 1964, making it one of the oldest self drive car rental companies in Menorca. We are a family run business dedicated to hire car rental. Our service is friendly and efficient, covering the whole island. We have a large variety of air conditioned cars to satisfy most needs , all with full insurance included providing you are over 23yrs.

Insurance available for over 21yrs with 12 months driving experience for a supplement.

Cars can be delivered to the airport to meet your flight at no extra charge or to your resort (sometimes with a small charge)

This will be the 3rd time using this local company to hire a car in Menorca. Excellent value for money, better than excellent customer service, no hidden charges and all inclusive insurance so no worry about picking up the odd scratch!

So many other companies you either have to queue for ages at the desk to get your car or have to go to an off site compound and spend a long time (horror stories I’ve heard of up to 5 hours!) sorting everything out. Rent A Car S’Algar had a real life person waiting in the arrivals hall for me and took me straight to the car in the car park and after a quick signature I was on my way.

Dropping off was just as simple….. park in the airport car park, leave the ticket and keys in the boot and email/text the company giving them the location of the car in the car park and that’s it!! I will never use any other company when visiting Menorca.
